Terms of Use

These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your use of the Itino mobile app and the website itino.co (together, “Itino” or “the Service”). By downloading, accessing or using the Service you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use it.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old — or the minimum age of digital consent in your country, if higher — to use Itino. If you use Itino on behalf of an organization, you confirm you are authorized to accept these Terms for it.

2. Your account

Some features require you to sign in with Google. You are responsible for the activity that happens under your account and for keeping access to your sign-in method secure. Tell us promptly if you believe your account has been compromised.

3. Your content

You keep ownership of the trips, notes, places and other content you create in Itino (“Your Content”). You grant us a limited, non-exclusive licence to store, copy, transmit and process Your Content solely to operate the Service for you — for example to sync it between your devices or to generate an itinerary you requested. We do not use Your Content for advertising, and we do not sell it.

4. AI-generated itineraries

Itino uses automated systems to draft and optimize travel plans. These outputs are suggestions, not verified travel information. They can be incomplete, outdated or wrong.

Before you rely on a plan, verify independently:

• opening hours, closures, ticket requirements and reservations;
• travel times, transport schedules and route feasibility;
• prices, currency and payment methods;
• visa, entry, health and safety requirements for your destination;
• accessibility, weather and any local restrictions.

You are solely responsible for the travel decisions you make. Itino is a planning tool; it is not a travel agency, a tour operator, an insurer, and it does not book or sell travel services.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• use the Service for anything unlawful, or to plan or facilitate unlawful activity;
• upload content that infringes someone else's rights, or that is abusive, hateful or otherwise harmful;
• attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, scrape or interfere with the Service or its infrastructure;
• probe, overload or bypass any security, rate limit or usage restriction;
• resell, sublicense or commercially exploit the Service without our written permission;
• use automated means to generate excessive planning requests.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

6. Third-party services

Itino relies on third-party services, including Google Maps and Places, Google Firebase and AI providers. Your use of features that depend on them is also subject to their terms. Map data, place details and other third-party content belong to their respective owners, and we do not guarantee their accuracy or availability.

7. Our intellectual property

The Itino name, logo, app, website, design and software are owned by us and protected by intellectual property laws. These Terms grant you a personal, revocable, non-transferable, non-exclusive licence to use the Service — nothing more.

8. Availability and changes

Itino is under active development. We may add, change, suspend or discontinue features at any time, and we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. Certain features may be offered on a paid basis in the future; if so, pricing and billing terms will be presented before you are charged.

9. Disclaimer of warranties

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy and non-infringement. We do not warrant that itineraries, place information or travel estimates are accurate, complete or suitable for your trip.

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost data, missed connections, cancelled bookings or travel disruption arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us for the Service in the twelve months before the claim, or USD 50.

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain exclusions or limitations; in those places, the limitations above apply only to the extent permitted.

11. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from claims, damages and expenses arising from your misuse of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your infringement of someone else's rights.

12. Termination

You can stop using Itino at any time and request deletion of your account as described in our Privacy Policy. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms or if we discontinue the Service. Sections 3, 4 and 7 through 11 survive termination.

13. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms as the Service evolves. We will update the “last updated” date and, for material changes, notify you in the app or by email. Continuing to use Itino after changes take effect means you accept the revised Terms.

14. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of [COUNTRY — replace with your jurisdiction], without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Disputes will be submitted to the competent courts of that jurisdiction, unless mandatory consumer protection law in your country of residence gives you the right to bring proceedings locally.
